Floral Cotton was established by Mark Nebo and Anthony Wheat in Waldorf, Maryland in March of 2011. The business “bloomed” after a casual conversation about how cotton is used as decoration in many homes throughout the south in the fall months. From that conversation, and many others, they soon realized how important cotton could be to the Florist Industry as well as other businesses such as wedding planners, interior decorators, and crafters. It all came together after speaking to a high school friend who, as a bonus, also happens to be a third generation cotton farmer in Northeast Arkansas. Floral Cotton now happily provides American upland cotton for use in floral arrangements, weddings, decorations, and crafts. Cotton is great as the main centerpiece in an arrangement or as a filler alternative. We’re sure there are many more uses for Floral Cotton that we haven’t thought of yet, and we look forward to hearing them all!
