We know that during spring there are many weddings and birthdays you have to attend to and having a professional do your hair and makeup can be extremely pricey. That’s exactly the reason why we wrote this article: to give you a chance to improve your makeup skills and save money at the same time. Read on and watch these easy makeup tutorials for spring!
1. Pink Neon Lips
The spring is finally here and it’s time to put those colorful makeup pallets to use! First of all, why don’t we start with a nice lip color? Save the nudes, bronzes and coppers for the summer and try vibrant colors this spring.
We chose to tell you about this tutorial because nobody can go wrong with pink lips! The secret is to match your skin color to your shade of pink. For example, a dark skin color goes better with a lighter shade of pink and vice versa.
You may want to prepare your lips before applying the makeup: either rub some Vaseline on them and wipe it off with a paper towel or use a lip scrub made of corn flour and honey.
You can choose a pink lip pencil or a regular lipstick: the pencil will last longer, but it makes your kips feel dry, while the lipstick your hydrate the lips, but wipe off within a few hours.
2. Plum Smokey Eyes
Pink lips go perfectly with…you guessed it, plum smokey eyes! Especially since it is spring, you may want to go for colors that look a lot like spring flowers: green, purple, and pink, light blue and so on.
You can pretty much choose any of these colors, but purple is our favorite. Plus, it’s not very difficult to do and it will really be a great idea no matter what the color of your eyes is.
Since it doesn’t take too much time, you can try it every day. Pay attention to our expert and you’ll see how fun and easy it is to go for a plum smokey eyes tutorial:
3. Dramatic Eyeliner
If you really want your eyes to pop, you should try a bald eye makeup: not only it will accent your eyes, but you can also go for a pinup look and turn into a retro sensation within minutes.
We know that most of you are worried that they’re not going to be able to trace that straight line, but it’s really not that difficult, as you can see in this video below.
A small trick for those who only want to use eyeliner and nothing else: it’s best to apply foundation and powder before doing so in order to avoid the black ink smudge all over your upper lids. Other than that, you’re ready to go:
4. The Pinup Look
If you’ve decided to go full pinup, you should watch the video below. The good thing about pinups is that they never go out of style, are feminine and cute at the same time and they don’t require a lot of work. Although there are so many types of pinups (gothic, modern, and hipster), the traditional is our favorite: clear skin, red lips, heavy eyeliner and just a pinch of blush.
If you are planning on adopting this style for a long period of time, we suggest that you downsize it a bit: maybe a softer shade of red, a thinner eye line and no foundation. However, this video should give you all the information you need:
5. Natural Beauty Makeup
Not everybody likes bald makeup, so for you we have the “no makeup” makeup. Ever noticed celebrity selfies followed by a “no makeup” hashtag and wondered how come they look so great? Well, they don’t! They just know how to apply foundation, powder and illuminating pearls to obtain a discrete look.
The advantages are many: it takes less time to get ready, you look like you were born with it, you don’t have to worry about smudged makeup and it also lasts up to 6 hours, which is a great thing. Although many companies claim that they have products that only ware off after 24 hours, when you combine them with other products, they lose their longevity, so 6 hours without other retouches is the best you can hope for:
6. Perfect eyebrows
There are a few things you need to do no matter the age: do fill in your eyebrows and do trim them every now and then. Eyebrows matter so much (if you don’t believe us, Google “no eyebrows celebrities” and you’ll see what we’re talking about), they define the shape of your face, frame your eyes and add a drop of mystery to your overall demeanor. Plus, thicker and fuller eyebrows make you look younger and healthier, so why not do it?

7. 15 Minutes Makeup
We all wish we could have our makeup done in under 1 minute every morning, but that’s just not possible.
If you have 15 minutes and you’re spending them watching TV every morning, how about you never turn that thing on and do a quick makeup?
You only need a handful of products: foundation, lip gloss, mascara and blush. Everything else is up to you.
Don’t forget to prepare your face the night before: remove your makeup and impurities using a towel and a small amount of tea infusion, plus a night cream. In the morning, your face will feel soft and refreshed.
8. Gold and Green Eye Makeup
This is a great idea for when you are going out with your friends, attending a wedding (and there will be plenty of them this spring!) or just go out on a date. The technique requires attention and a steady hand. Other than that, nobody is stopping you. And if you need to buy new makeup, check out our Sephora coupons.

9. Chocolate Eyes
You’re going to fall in love with this tutorial, especially if your eyes are brown or hazelnut. Not to mention a blonde! First of all, make sure you have some chocolate color makeup around the house.
If you don’t you can purchase it online, using our Sephora coupons. Once that’s solved, watch the tutorial and try creating your own look. Usually, if you go for bald lips, you tone it down on the eyes and vice versa, so try not to overdo it. You just decide which feature you’re more proud of and accentuate it. Plus, it’s easier than it seems:
10. Spring Look
If you’ve decided to go full spring on your makeup, then nobody is holding you back. Just make sure to wear light toned clothes to match the makeup. One simply does not wear happy makeup and dark clothes!
The good thing about this kind of makeup is that you can wear it every day during both spring and summer. However, because of all the pastel colors you’re using, it’s best to change it for the evening time: maybe a thicker eye line or a darker eye shadow!
